About Us
At THEKER, we’re taking on one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century: redefining how physical work gets done in the world.
We are a robotics and AI company building intelligent, adaptable systems that solve problems traditional automation never could. From Barcelona, our mission is to create a generation-defining company leading the robotics revolution.
By joining us, you will have the chance to do the most meaningful work of your life, setting a new standard for industrial automation and driving breakthroughs with global reach, while being surrounded by a focused, talent-dense team that shares this ambition and is here to win.
Your role:
We are looking for a Procurement Analyst to build and own THEKER's purchasing function from the ground up.
THEKER builds physical robots. That means a continuous flow of electronic components, mechanical parts, sensors, cables, and custom hardware — often with tight timelines and no room for supply chain failure. Right now, procurement is distributed across the engineering team. Your job is to change that.
You will create structure: qualify and manage suppliers, drive cost discipline, reduce lead times, and ensure the right components are available when the engineering and integration teams need them. You will work directly with Mechanical, Electronics, and Robotics Integration engineers on sourcing decisions, BOM management, and component availability, becoming the operational backbone of everything we build.
What we’re looking for
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles — preferably in hardware, electronics, or industrial environments.
Experience managing supplier relationships, running RFQs, and handling purchase orders end to end.
Strong attention to detail on pricing, lead times, and quality.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with incomplete information and shifting priorities.
Fluent English. Spanish is a plus.
Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate (100% on-site role).
Nice to have
Experience in robotics, industrial automation, electronics manufacturing, or deep tech.
Familiarity with ERP or procurement tools (SAP, Odoo, or similar).
Experience sourcing electronic components or custom mechanical parts.
Knowledge of incoterms, customs processes, and international purchasing.
You’ll thrive at THEKER if
You're excited by a fast-paced and ambitious environment. The opportunity ahead of us is enormous, and we're going all in to capture it.
You want responsibility early on, delivering at world-class standards.
You enjoy building things from scratch — processes, supplier bases, systems — and leaving them better than you found them.
You're open to feedback, collaborative, and comfortable making decisions with imperfect information.
Main Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end procurement process: sourcing, RFQs, supplier selection, PO management, and delivery follow-up.
Build and maintain a qualified supplier base for electronics, mechanical components, and custom hardware.
Work with engineering teams on BOM management, component selection, and alternative sourcing when needed.
Track pricing and lead times across suppliers, identifying opportunities to reduce cost and improve reliability.
Monitor open POs and delivery timelines, proactively flagging supply risks before they impact production or deployment.
Manage inventory levels for recurring components, balancing availability against cash tied up in stock.
Build procurement infrastructure from scratch: approval workflows, spend visibility, vendor evaluation criteria, and documentation standards.
Support new product development by anticipating component lead times and sourcing requirements early in the design process.
What we offer
Being part of a fast-growing robotics and AI company with genuine ambition, where your career can accelerate alongside us.
The chance to make a real impact from day one, building the supply chain of a new category of intelligent robots.
A focused, talent-dense team where your work is visible and your decisions count.
An environment where new ideas are encouraged and your contributions shape both the operations and the company.
100% on-site work in Barcelona.
