About us

At THEKER, we’re taking on one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century: redefining how physical work gets done in the world.

We are a robotics and AI company building intelligent, adaptable systems that solve problems traditional automation never could. From Barcelona, our mission is to create a generation-defining company leading the robotics revolution.

By joining us, you will help bring advanced robotics into real industrial environments, turning cutting-edge technology into systems that operate every day in production.

Your role:

We’re looking for a Robotics Integration Specialist to define the performance standard of our deployed robots as we scale.

You will lead commissioning, programming, and optimization in real industrial plants, ensuring measurable and stable production performance. Your work directly shapes system reliability and future technical standards.

As we grow, the performance benchmarks you establish will become the foundation for scaling our robotics platform globally.

What we’re looking for

  • Higher Vocational Training or Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Industrial, Electrical, Automation, Robotics, Software, or related fields.

  • Strong knowledge of robot programming, PLCs, or industrial control systems.

  • Experience in robotics integration, commissioning, or industrial automation.

  • Ability to perform structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

  • Fluent Spanish and willingness to travel frequently (driving license required).

  • Nice to have: experience with industrial vision systems, performance data analysis, or robot simulation tools.

You’ll thrive at THEKER if

  • You’re excited by a fast-paced and ambitious environment. The opportunity ahead of us is enormous, and we’re going all in to capture it.

  • You enjoy understanding systems end-to-end, not just executing tasks.

  • You care about measurable performance, not just “it works”.

  • You’re comfortable taking ownership under real production pressure.

  • You want your work to directly influence the next generation of deployed robots.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead system commissioning and start-up in customer facilities.

  • Program and tune robotic systems to achieve target performance.

  • Design and execute validation tests for mechatronic systems.

  • Diagnose failures using structured root cause analysis.

  • Monitor performance metrics and provide structured technical feedback to product and engineering teams.

What We Offer

  • Being part of a fast-growing robotics and AI company with huge ambition, where your career can accelerate alongside us.

  • Direct exposure to real industrial production environments.

  • A focused, talent-dense team pushing the boundaries of robotics deployment.

  • A fast-paced environment where responsibility and technical growth go hand in hand.

  • 100% on-site work in Barcelona.

What the process looks like

  • Intro call with Martín (Chief of Staff).

  • Technical challenge at our offices.

  • Conversation with the technical team and founders.

These steps can be completed in 7 days.
